FTF: Chicken Adobo and Chocolate Chip Cookies!
“You cook so good, dear. What is your emblem when it comes to cooking? What will you cook when a visitor comes?”, asked my husband, eyes glowing while eating this Chicken Adobo. “Chicken Adobo, because that’s my Filipino pride”, I smiled while taking these pictures.
I guess I’ve been cooking a lot of Italian food lately and I miss my Filipino food so much. I miss eating rice so that’s why I got two cups of rice in this picture. When I cook chicken adobo, I separated the broth after boiling the chicken with soy sauce and vinegar. I used white wine for my vinegar. After boiling, I sauteed the chicken meat with Bay leaves and some garlic or onion. I had mais or corn on the side in this plate. But then I found out that I hit the right spot this time so ate a lot more rice and scooped more broth into it as my seconds.
This is the Chocolate Chip Cookies I made the other day. This has been my 6th success in baking it.
I will share the recipes after this post.
