Nostalgia #4: During my high school days and my friends
Oh boy, I’m late in my entry but don’t want to miss my Nostalgia. Hop in to the button below and share with us your nostalgia:
I just had a sudden urge to have my friends where I am now. Or how I wish I could see them for real again.
So I went to my Facebook profile and felt nostalgic when I saw their faces. Anyway, here are some of my pictures to share.
This picture was taken back in 2003, when I was in my Fourth year in high school.
I studied in a private Catholic school named Holy Spirit School in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. I belong to the second to the last batch of our school which was Exclusively for Girls only. So many memories in my HS Alma mater. Our room was the smallest out of three section in our batch at that time. That’s why we’re enjoying much of our togetherness while waiting for our next subject teacher.

I was one of the lyrist in our High school band. I miss my lyre. It’s been a long time now. We probably played 30 songs at that time during a parade. The only songs that I can still remember to play will be our National Hym and Love is all that matters. Hu! What a long walk in the road and under the heat of the sun!
This is again in our small room. From the left is Rose, Marj, Lian, Me and Claire. We are so innocent, lols.
I think my section at this picture is 2nd year Faith. Mrs. Maramba was our Adviser at that time. I remember our section was always praised by our subject teachers because we always sing before and after prayers at every subject. And our section was chosen by our Music teacher to sing “I will be here” during a school day presentation (can’t remember what it was, but I really like our section).
We were tired after our long pilgrimage walk in this picture. Our school participates in that kind of activity. We walk many miles from our school to in Bohol island to Dauis island’s church, Our Lady of Assumption Parish.
I’m the third to the right on the back row in this picture. I kinda miss those times wearing our school uniform. The nuns were strict about it that we should respect our uniforms in a way of not letting those jumpers down. They said it’s a modest way of not tempting lust to others by hiding the straps of our bra.
I’m sitting second on the right. We were wearing our gala’s at that time. We wear our gala’s when there’s a Feastday of a Saint.
This picture was taken when I was 2nd year in college. I’m the one second from the left. These are my high school friends, we had a get together to celebrate Halloween but we turned out to be in our gown costumes.
I like this picture. I’m the one leaning to the floor in the left side of this picture. Marj did a great CG effects of herself as a ghost.
Again, Marj’s CG effects, we are the Gothic girls. Hahaha. I look like I’m Abbi from CIS series.
I like this picture because we’re all behave. Waaah! I miss you so much XKOM girls!
Which picture did you like? Hope you can share your nostalgia too.
