YM and BM: At Mother of Perpetual Help chapel
Yesterday, we celebrated the Palm Sunday in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic church. I just wanted to share some beautiful religious icons for this Lenten season that I found in the churches my family and I visited for mass on Sundays. There was a Mother of Perpetual help chapel inside Saint Michael’s Byzantine church. I like to pray there and light a vigil candle for my prayer intentions. Have you spent some time praying to God when going to your church or chapel?

SPLASH OF YELLOW
Splash of yellow,
Dash of gold,
Make me mellow,
Never old;
Keep my humor
In fine trim,
Always laughing,
Never grim.

Have a blessed week! Hope you can also visit us for my post and my daughter's entry . Thank you!
Byzantine churches have that holy feeling when you are inside. Their architectural style is patterned after the great Byzantine empire of the Middle Ages. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
This lovely post reminds me of all the years I spent in boarding school with the Dominican nuns. It brings back so many beautiful memories. Such a lovely post for this most special time of the liturgical year.
