Blue Monday: A new airplane for George
George is in the stage where he is obsessed to one particular subject. Airplanes. This has been going for about 1 month. At first, we introduced him other picture books to help stimulate his brain and eyes. We showed him books on trucks and cars. But he kept turning one particular page of the truck book, the page where there were this trucks that helps loading and fixing airplanes. I remember he kept pointing of the airplanes in it, and that was the starting point of his airplane obsession. He also saw the airplane paper models in his Grandma’s house but the Uncle and the Daddy doesn’t want him to touch those as they are too old for his age. He cried every time he sees it. And so, his Daddy and Mommy decided to buy him his first airplane toy last Friday. Boy, he was so excited. He showed it to everyone in the church yesterday. He even slept holding on to it whole night. We are riding in his obsession and guiding him to the images that would help him widened his learning abilities on what airplanes do. He might have an ambition to become a pilot someday.

Anyone that has an elementary education degree online on up to an online masters in psychology will tell you that this singular obsession trait is probably perfectly normal.

Normal lang yan Mel. Naa pod bata pul-anon, kanunay mag change sa iya gustong dulaan. maayo lang sa sugod..pero naa pod nga e-baby jud nya iya toy. i-observe lang iya hilig ana karon.. if mag tuloy tuloy, plus explanation kung unsa ng airplane, piloto siguro na sya inig kadako. sus, kanindot kung naa ka anak piloto hehe.
