Our Family Post Christmas 2011 Celebration
Our family did a small get together in my mom in law’s house during the Christmas day. The day before that, I cooked a 5 pound chicken to my new crockpot. Then I brought to their house so we can eat together before Christmas Eve mass. I did some gift wrapping for my presents to everyone. It was a beautiful night. Clear sky and clean road, no snow at all. We had the beautiful Latin mass and talked with the Latin mass folk goers and went home. My husband played Christmas music in the car during our hour and a half drive home. Straight to bed and woke up on the Christmas day with happy faces. I had my final retouch in gift wrapping. The Man folks came to our house and watch a movie together called Pirates of the Carribean, Stranger Strides. They watched some internet movies after that. George and I and mom, baked ginger bread man cookies together. George and Mom enjoyed putting eyes and buttons and the cookies. I joined the man folks and in the afternoon we had our exchanging gifts. Spent the whole night in my mom in law’s house and went home with lots of Christmas presents. Well, mostly George’s presents. The next day, we let George open one last huge Christmas present, a new toddler bed. He was so excited as a moose. I took pictures of us and it sure were fun and enjoyable days we got together this Christmas.
