Philadelphia Candies, Disney Tangled Review, Pink Fridays and Pink Saturdays
I’ll start a short review in this post about the Disney Tangled Movie. Well, Guess what, I have watched the movie a hundred times already. Addict? Oh yeah! I just can’t get enough of the humor, the mood of the lead speaking and non-speaking characters, and the motherly sarcasm of a possessive character. I thought it would be over reacting to make a modern version of the old Rapunzel fairy tale but this one really rocks. Too bad I didn’t see it in the theater but yes, Yes! I now own a DVD movie! Thanks to my bro in law who is so keen in looking for bargains, he bought it as a Christmas present for me for just $6.99. I almost thought of buying one online as I found a cheapest price of $12 not including shipping fee. I also loved the digital graphics in this movie. The 3 D animators created so much depth in every art and angle that everything looks so real and not making the characters looked like barbie dolls or made out of clay. Mandy Moore is the voice of Rapunzel and Zachari Levi is the voice of Flynn Rider, and Donna Murphy is Mother Gothel. You and your kids will enjoy this family friendly movie (no harsh words) and the folk rock and medieval music that Mandy More and the other characters sang and other soundtracks. And oh, the floating lights was a superb attraction in the movie too! I wonder if one could really make those things float in the air like that. From Wikipedia, this movie has won the National Movie Awards for Animation and won the Best Song (their main soundtrack) “I see the light”. They are being nominated in the 54th Grammy awards for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Song Written For Visual Media (“I See the Light”). I’m joining them in crossing fingers to win it.
Another special thanks to my mother in law who gave me these batch of Philadelphia candies to eat. Pardon my sweet tooth!
So what’s Pink? How about the dress Rapunzel in the movie is wearing and the cover of this yummy goodies? Have a Pink stuff to show? Share it here with Pink Fridays and Pink Saturdays.
