Hearts Content Of A Mama

I realized I haven’t written an update in this blog about how our Valentines day went a month ago. It should appear under the “My Family Memoir Update” in this blog’s sidebar. Oh dear me. So much stuff going on to our life offline and on this blog, and it’s sometimes hard to keep up posting with my family’s updates here. About our Valentines day, we celebrated it in a simple manner. I just told my husband that my heart will be contented if he will give me a Rose and a Valentines card. To my surprise, he bought this big heart full of Russel Stover chocolates with assorted creams and nuts. He also bought me this Pink Heart Dove Chocolate (my favorite chocolate), boquete of red Roses, and a Pink Valentines card. What I did that day is that, I baked a strawberry cake with white Pillsbury icing, bought a Sparkling red grape cocktail, a small angry bird plush toy (his favorite black angry bird character), big Hershey’s dark chocolate, and a lovely pink heart Valentines card with a beautiful poem Our Love Endures by Ellen Brennman. We went out as a family, for a dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant that day. And we reminisced reading some love letters we exchanged in the past.

The picture above is me and my toddler. He joined in taking pictures with me before we are going to eat our Hearts Day Goodies.
