#172/366 Blog Photo Challenge – June Garden Progress
Gardening is a fun hobby but it can be challenging as there are unexpected things that can happen. You have pests to control and get a good harvest for all your hard works. The bunnies have been a big pest to my garden this month. And since I have set up the fence around the garden beds, they wont bother at this moment but I have seen some holes in the foliage of my cabbages, so I think the japanese beetles are going to be a problem soon. A frequent visit to the garden everyday should control these bugs so they wont attack the plants again and again. I feel blessed to have George at my side as he can respond to simple request like taking out dead leaves and watering the plants. Going out outdoors is fun, especially having your kids participate with you.
Today, my mom in law invited us by surprise to go to a trip with her and my bro in law, to Jamestown’s thrift store. I decided to go with them. The Salvation Army had 4 color tags half off today. I was able to find clothing for the 4 of us worth $30. It was worth it. Need to prepare clothing for our NYC and Lancaster trip next month.
