#176/366 Blog Photo Challenge – Visiting Hubby’s Middle School Alma Mater
I wasn’t feeling well this morning. We instead attend the sinners mass, term for attending mass later on a Sunday, which is in the afternoon at the State Hospital Chapel. My two boys are feeling a little better in their cold but it turns out I’m the one having it now. Must keep it to myself as I want my husband to be in a good health on our road trip soon to NYC.
We visited my husband’s Middle School, Beaty, Alma mater after mass. We just went around, outside the building and I am impressed of it’s classical structure. It looks like a castle. My husband describes it as if the constructors of this building built it to look like a dragon. Here’s a picture of me standing in front of the school’s entrance. I wish my kids will get to high school here someday. We saw very tall Thistle weeds outside this building. My husband and I always find this weed very fascinating so we just took a nice picture of it. We went to the playground, we tried the adult slide and swings, as if we are back to just meeting each other for the first time. The kids were baby sited with their Grand Ma Cole, so we had a couple get-away for a few hours, walking on the bank of the Conawango river. I got some clams but I throw it back to the river as we don’t know if they are edible or not. I got to talk to my husband about my childhood memories that my sibling and I used to do this when I was in Philippines. I missed doing it, and I am glad we were able to spend our time together this way.
