#180/366 Blog Photo Challenge – Garden Veggies

My second garden bed looks more lively today. The Romaine and Red Lettuce are showing up more foliage to harvest. It has been my second time to harvest for fresh lettuce salad lately. It’s my second time to harvest broccoli this week too. The cabbages haven’t showed any head yet and I’m a little sad as there are bugs in the air that keep on making holes in their foliage. My mom in law says they are probably attacked by tiny caterpillars, but I haven’t seen one lately as I have inspected their foliage. I planted the corn seeds on the first bed last week and they have shown tiny seedlings today. I am late in sowing it outdoors so I expect to harvest on August. The new fence has protected my garden beds against bunnies. I am also happy about this.
