It’s back to school and back to study mode again for all students. There are so many things to expect for the new school year, students are both excited and anxious about it. Although it could mean new challenges, there are also new opportunities to look forward to.
Parents are not the only ones who experience back-to-school stress; students also experience the same thing. Some students may experience stress especially for first timers. Thus it is very important to learn how to cope with back-to-school anxieties in order to have an enjoyable school year.
Time management is a must. Every student must learn how to manage their time wisely. It may difficult at first but if everything is properly planned, then it would lessen the stress they experience. When students know what things to prioritize, time management would be an easy thing to do.
Know the learning style or study habits. It is essential to know what particular learning techniques will help students to learn their lessons effectively. Every student must establish the ideal study habits in order to lessen the stress experience during examinations.
Organize things and the schedule. Cluttered desk or study table will distract ones attention when studying. It is better to keep the things organized so that you know where to get them when you need them. Organize your schedule so that you will not miss any deadline or cram during examinations.
Take care of your health. Too much stress may cause your health to deteriorate. Therefore, you should eat balanced diet and engage in physical activities that will keep your body healthy. It is also important to have yourself vaccinated since you are exposed to different people most of the time. Enough time to rest is also essential; students tend to stay up late because they have to study or complete a school project.

Getting back to school after a long vacation is stressful as your body or kids body clock is still skewed on vacation mode and would require an adjustment period. Then there’s the need for new outfits and books, etc.
Getting back to school after a long weekend or rest
is something more STRESSFUL if your student child is a toddler.
My 3-year old son is hesitant to attend school again but I was
able to get back his lost enthusiasm. I just hope he will
remain focus and never get bored with school.

I remembered skipping meals when I was still in school because of unfinished homework. Indeed, to avoid piled up work at school, manage time wisely.
My 2 boys were too excited to go back to school especially the youngest . I am so lucky to have kids who loves to study and get high grades. They know that this makes me happy.
