Magazine Shopping At Walmart
I bought a Petersen’s Photographic magazine and a Collector’s version of the Olympics magazine from Walmart. I think this edition was last month and it’s been a while that I set it aside. I got interested to see more close up pictures of the US athletes especially that US garnered lots of Gold medals in this year’s Olympics. It was interesting to read about the life of Michael Phelps. I was touched of the part that he loves his Mom and the Mom supported all the way on his being athlete. Another athlete that I am inspired of is Jennifer Nichols, who is an Archery athlete. I wanna know archery (smiles) not just because I’m inspired of the movie Hunger Games but because it’s a unique sport where not a lot of people do it (except if you’re into hunting). I suppose during Olympics it is a must see sport. I wanna test how sharp are my eyes and to hit a bulls eye (winks). Anyhow, I bought the Petersen’s Photographic magazine for $5.99 but I haven’t read it in details yet. I want to learn the new features of my new Canon T2i camera (winks). The Olympics magazine was for $9.99. I’m inspired to lose more weight when I saw the athlete’s healthy fit body pictures! How about you, what’s your inspiration when it comes to photography & losing weight?

Magazines are useful sources of materials too. And although there are many digital versions of our favorite magazines, I still like to keep the hard copies which I can display in the office or at home. Have fun learning about archery and photography.
Been there and I am following what I read and see in the magazines. I envy those athletes much. ^_^
Canon T2i Camera… hmm… makes me want to check the latest cam too. =>
I think magazines are really here to stay. Despite the fact that people always go online for resources, magazine is still a good old way.
i miss shopping for magazines. i remember having it on my monthly budget and then reading them as i let the traffic pass me by when in transit. it’s also an effective way to sharpen your writing skills, very good for blogging
I also do magazine shopping every start of the month. I buy all my fave magazines, typically around 5-6 of ‘em and read them within the month. Haha!
I would have to agree with the comments above.. still buy magazines as well, I like to keep hard copies since it can still be useful..
Seems like you will be getting all the information you needed in those magazines. Enjoy reading and have fun!
indeed magazines are the great way to, to see you celebs and idols closer! and more facts about them too! xx
Ten dollars for a magazine?? That’s crazy, haha. I’ve been subscribed to online versions of my favorite magazines – they’re also on cloud so I will always have a copy no matter where I go.
I have been waiting for someone who will be surprised of the magazine prices that I bought, and it’s you! hehehe yep, you spend in dollars here bro. I don’t buy magazines a lot but I bought this particular one especially that it’s a collector’s version and it’s worth scanning for past time
Might sell it someday too, we’ll see about that…
Oh my, I haven’t bought any magazine since high school. This post reminded me of that, as well as checking out the latest camera in the market :3
I wanna learn archery too when I was younger, but my eyesight is bad and my aim is not that good. :c
I’m not so much into magazines but I love to read them with those flashy colored photos of people and products that are so appealing… and of course those articles worth reading.
For weight loss sis, I get my inspiration from feeling good whenever I can easily slip into my skinny jeans. Kapag sumisikip na, time to go back to the gym and work it!
Awww, I miss Walmart, especially the Sundays I would spend there whenever the cruise ship I worked on would dock in Galveston.
