Inside Odyssey Minivan

It’s amazing that we’re already in the month of October. Soon, my father, brother in law and I will be celebrating our birthdays. As promised in my previous posts, I will take you guys for a short tour inside our Odyssey minivan. Winks.

I have driven this car more than 5 times (for 2 hours trips each). This is the picture of the driver’s and front passenger seat. It’s comfortable. The stick control is on the right side of the steering wheel. The left side of it has the stick for turn signals and buttons for the left and ride side passenger seats. Yup, you don’t have to manually slide the side doors. The driver’s buttons and the remote control buttons cover that. Isn’t that neat? Here’s little V pretending to be a Honda driver. Smiles.

One thing that surprised me of this car is that it has lots of cup holders. This is the main table and cup holders for the driver and front passenger seats. The middle seats has their own cup holders on their side. The back seats also have cup holders for each three people. This main table can be folded down too if you want to use the space in the center to put your bag or purse.

I took a picture of the vanity mirror on the front seat. It’s amazing that it has those tiny lights when you lift the flap that cover the mirror. Smiles.

This is what the sliding door and the middle seat look like. It has arms rests that can be folded up and down. It is also adjustable to move forward or backward. One of the seat can be adjusted to move to the center. These backs of the middle seat can be folded down too. All for seats can be taken out of their place for easy cleaning and I haven’t tried that yet.

Here’s how far the middle seat can be folded down. My husband is securing little V in his car seat in the back. That seat in the back can be folded down too for more storage space.

I forgot to take pictures of the space in the hatch or the back space of the back seat. It is quite spacious. As for our two months ownership of this car, it has been blessing. We changed the battery once and it took a while for my husband to use the cd player as it asks for the code. We didn’t have that code after we got the car but luckily he found some youtube videos in the internet to find it.

Hope you enjoy our pictures!

I cannot bring myself to actually become a minivan mom, but I am pretty envious- its like a mobile living room!

  2. Monica says:

Perfect timing! We just started looking for a car and hadn’t considered an Odyssey. We will at least have to test drive one now. Great features!

  3. Fran says:

    Sigh. I sooooo want one!!!

Pretty car and great for a family! I love the cup holder action it’s one of my biggest pet peeves to not have enough! 🙂

  5. Nova says:

this is amazing, minivan is indeed great for family who do have more than 1 kid. as it would be handy and very spacious.

  6. Oh, I would love to have a minivan like this! We only have 1 kid right now (another on the way), but my 2 sisters each have a young child and we love to go places together, and we always have to take separate vehicles because none of us has enough room in our tiny cars to fit everyone! This would be so great.

Ohhhh fancy!! Our minivan (Dodge Caravan) is older than our kids combined! We’ve been thinking about upgrading but it’s just such a sold vehicle. Thanks for the tour 😉

  8. Check out all those cupholders!! I car can never have too many cup holders. My SIL & BIL have an Odyssey and they LOVE IT!

  9. Kori says:

My s/o has vowed to not drive a minivan. I’m on the fence. I like them but I fell in love with the Chevy Traverse- part minivan, part suv. I want that so badly.

  10. I know numerous mini van owners with one or more kids..must say that yours is the cleanest by far!

  11. That is a nice ride. Thanks for the virtual tour :).

  12. Melissa Smith says:

I’m so anti-minivan for myself that it’s almost hilarious. Although that does look like a pretty nice ride with plenty of arm space! LOL

  13. Thanks for sharing your pictures, definitely enjoyed them:) It looks very spacious and comfortable!

  14. Danielle Stewart says:

Very nice job! Looks like plenty of room to haul all your very precious cargo 🙂

  15. Love how much space there is in the car! Definitely a car to keep in mind.

  16. Melodi Steinberg says:

This looks like an awesome van! So much space and it would be great for a family of 5!

  17. Sarah says:

OK, so I still have my SUV and badge I’ll never buy a minivan. However, one by one my friends are buying them and after your review I’m about 50% closer to liking the mini van. As you stated, the mere convenience factor of sliding doors and buckling up kids in their car seats when you have multiples. Plus, mini vans have come along way in the look and feel when driving! Thanks for your review and enjoy your new ride with your cute boys!
