Laptops were made to provide convenience to its users. However, once you keep on looking for a power outlet to charge your laptop battery; then it is no longer convenient to use it. For laptop owners, you need to learn these simple steps on how to prolong the battery life of your laptop whether it is an Apple laptop battery or just the usual ones. If your laptop works fast, it is less demanding on the hard drive as well as the battery. So you need to make sure that your hard drive works efficiently by defragging it regularly. However do not defrag you laptop while the battery is on.

Another method to prolong the battery life is to keep you screen dim. Almost all laptops provide the option to dim your screen. As much as possible, cut down to lowest level that your eye sight can tolerate. This will surely squeeze out some battery life. Lastly, if you are not using the programs better shut them down. Make sure that you only open the
programs that you need. Programs that are running in the background are most likely going to eat up the battery life. Also make sure that you remove all external devices that are not in use.

I was able to grab pictures from my mother’s email today, it showed how extent is the damage caused by the 6.9 earthquake in Philippines. It is the place where my Grand Parents lived. There were quite a few damages. They have 2 small houses, the one in the city is not livable anymore as most of the area in Jimalalud City, Negros Oriental is very much damaged by the Earthquake and the one in the isolated area has a big hole in the kitchen.

My Uncle called my father to help him distribute the early relief goods that they got for my Grand Parents and they also distributed some for the extended families and neighbors of my Grand Parents. My Grand Mother is a town leader in that area and she could not leave the neighbors and relatives who were also victims of the Earthquake in the area. She has quite a burden in her hands and I am impressed of her courage and kindness.

I also want to thank mommy Rcel of Progressive Parenting who added additional monetary donation for me to send to my Grand Parents!
