Being careful if I should take the GARDASIL shot or not

Last Wednesday, I scheduled an appointment to get my last shot of GARDASIL or the Human Pappilo Virus Vaccine at our local Obstetrics. The nurse was very keen on giving me the informations about the said vaccine because I told her that I’m nursing my baby and my menstruation is back. She refer me to a Doctor and the Doctor doesn’t want me to take the vaccine. She said two things to me. I can take the vaccine even though… Continue reading

My Baby Milestone Part 5: George in his 5 months and 2 weeks old

My baby George is now five months and two weeks old. His weight is now 16 lbs and his height is 26 inches. We have been blessed to have a good baby so far. He can sleep from 11 PM to 6AM straight. I am still breastfeeding him and he doesn’t complain about that. He loves it. I enjoy it so much! Among the things he can do now is that he is babbling a lot. He can say “dyadyadya”… Continue reading

School keepsake book

While I was in my son’s nursery room the other day, I just found out that something is missing. I thought of something like a memory book for him. Since he is still a baby now, I am looking ahead for his adulthood that he may be proud of himself someday and remember the times of his childhood. He is growing like a weed. And as he grows, he learns many things. “A child’s mind is like a sponge”,… Continue reading

A Family Picture

This our family picture last month. It’s a little bit informal but still good enough. This would be the second family picture that I post so far. We got this picture while we volunteered watching the paintings and art stuff by the Warren Art League’s local artists. The venue was in the Crary Gallery. It is one of the antique gallery in the area. We just had a steady camera in a table and took a picture of us in… Continue reading

And to those who have not witnessed this kind of mass, please be patient about the latin words and hear this as if you are… Continue reading

Cooking Recipe: Pancit Guisado – Sauteed Vegetables with Noodles

Pancit or Pansit is one of the main dishes in my homeland Philippines. I miss the food that I eat there and I also cook it here for me and hubby. Anyway, for a quick background why we ate this kind of food at home because it’s one of the food influenced to us by the Chinese. My mother always like to cook this kind of recipe at home because it symbolizes prosperity, long life and good luck—the longer the… Continue reading

A Fabulous Day

I just wanted to say it is a fabulous day today. The sun is out and the temperature outside is up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s been a long while that I haven’t been strolling outside. Wish to go at the library. And just feel the air outside. The scenery is quite solemn. No more leaves on the trees. We have plenty of leaves outside our house. I will probably sweep those out before our neighbors will complain. I still… Continue reading

My Hubby sold his 3rd product in his Zazzle store

Yesterday, My hubby emailed to me that somebody bought one of his product in his zazzle store. This is his 3rd sale so far. It’s this cute t-shirt with a picture of a Tarsier in it. He took this picture during his first visit to me in Bohol, Philippines. As probably you all know, this World’s smallest primate, the Tarsier, lives in Bohol. And we saw this cute little guy in Corella’s Tarsier Sanctuary. So here’s the product and the… Continue reading
